My boys first time on the ice

Post by VT Surf-N-Turf » Sun Feb 21, 2010 11:38 pm

Took the boys out for their first time on the ice. My youngest stayed in the "wind break" most of the time. My oldest couldn't get enough, even though we got skunked! As we drove off the ice he said, "That was AWESOME! I need warmer gloves."

The ice is over 24" thick. Plenty thick enough to drive on and not exactly easy to auger through by hand. :D
