Took my new flintlock for its first hunt over the weekend and managed to score myself a nice little eating goat. Definitely need more practice with the old flinch lock lol

Might be time for a goat roast - AKA fire, spit, and slow turn of an animal until "done" properly!

Ive been to several "cook outs" where the beast of the day was the days hunt! The roasting and the feasting were appropriate to the success of the hunt and the festivity after was a local kaleidoscope of garden delights and homemade delicacies ... Go for it Pete! :applaud:

I ate his liver with back straps, onions,and gravy for tea that night. Delicious
