Tweaking a tripod for Archery

Post by Les » Wed Mar 10, 2010 10:39 am

Saw this biggame treestand tripod in a catalog and decide it might be the one so I ordered it. Came in a box 4'x2'x10" weighing in at 131lbs. UPS guy was glad to see me outside when he drove by. About 45 min later I had this and began to wonder if I had made a mistake. Where and how was I gonna keep backpack bow quiver and all the other stuff

HUMMMMMM better give it a shootabilty test

Very Cool Les. I think I need to come down and hang out on your Lanai and do some shooting! Great looking backyard too!

The bow is made by my Brother Pete. It is very similar to a "copperhead" that used to be made by Elmer Patton of Crow Creek Bows.

I think you did a great job of using your imagination to make something work!
One stick, one string. What more does a guy need? Oh yeah, and something that makes LOTS of smoke when you pull the trigger!
