I've been using a Badlands 2200 pack for 8 years that I picked up in the bargan cave at cabelas when I was living in Utah. I have used this pack on many pack in pack out hunts as well as day hunts. I've carried out elk quarters with ease. I've also used it in the thick nasty crosstimbers. It's been grabbed by those thick green spiney vines.
The pack barely shows signs of wear. And if it did Badlands would fix it. They have the best warranty I've ever seen and have amazing customer service.
