Do-it-Yourself Feather Splicing

Post by Bounty Hunter » Tue Nov 23, 2010 10:55 am

Here is a video on how to splice feathers using pre-cut feathers you buy. I know I'm giving away my secrets, but I love helping the do-it-yourself guys and gals. Enjoy and I hope it helps.

Glad it helped. I suggest practicing on some old or cheap feather before you try doing some for real.

I don't see me jumping on this myself but I sure liked seeing how it was done. Spliced feathers are a touch of class and you make some great ones. Thanks for the video. Sorry I missed this post until now.

I've always wanted to learn how to do this! Thanks for posting your secret, I can't wait to try it out, I love the appearance of spliced fletchings, its so beautiful and a great way to further customize a set of arrows. :77:
