OK Bryan, Her's the pics you was asking about, As you'll see some of the line(seams) are off some, that was cause I was trying to use a new razor blade out of the box and them things arn't all that sharp, once I switched to a sharpened grizzly elgrande every cut was right on!

I've made a few knives and re-worked a few hawks too, right now I'm working on a Cold Steel Hawk, you know those cheap looking ones?, well I am very suprised at how it's turning out, aging a hundred years into it, file work, carvings, my friend is going to be very happy....here's a few of my knife pics, I'll show the Hawk when I get er done..and I made all this stuff too..

And here's a little something different, just to let you know that antlers aren't just for knives and bowtips:

As usual Bowdoc, I'm with ya brother. I love to see the tools that people who know what they are doing can create. I am just one of those dangerous cobblers that just doesn't put the right effort into the project. I hacked that hawk (yes, the one that I stupidly threw with my strong hand so it got there first during a two-handed throwing competition - should have thrown my friend's hawk from my strong hand instead, but who knew? 8-) ) out of a carpenter's axe. Served it's purpose at the time, but it's time to do better.

So, yes, it would be great to have a knife and hawk forum.

I'm not a knife maker but here are a few oddball knives my son and I owned and used. The throwing knife on the left was made by a late friend of mine. It's a superb thrower. Next to it is my all time favorite camp knife. Among the others are an ulu, canoe or crooked knife, patch knives, camp knives, bowie made from a file, etc.

Thanks. I bought it in the 70s off on a trade blanket. It is a handmade butcher and don't know who made it. Soft steel so it takes an edge easily and is easy to sharpen.

I like the creation of antlers made to fishing bow's and rods...
This would be a kinda strong handle and a smooth furnish,

I appreciated sir Vodoo for his creativity...
