Browning Nomad Stalker refinish

Postby ChadMR82 » Mon Mar 05, 2012 6:10 pm

My wife's grandpa just gave me his old Browning Nomad Stalker recurve. He bought it new from J.C Penny in the early 70's. It is 45# and only 52 inches long. He killed a couple of deer with it and has not used it in several years. It is shootable now but it needs to be refinished. I know the refinishing cost is more than the bow is worth but I would love to have it looking new again. Even though this is a fairly simple process I would rather have someone with more experience do it for me. I just dont know who to contact.

I lost both of my grandpa's and my wife is kind enough to share hers with me. I have spent many days afield with him and would like to continue his hunting tradition with the newly refinished Browing Nomad Stalker. Thanks for any help on who can refinish this bow for me.
