Hey Bowdoc !

I've got an old Howatt Bandito in pristine condition except where someone glued some camo bow socks on to it. The socks evidently have been on from the time it was new until I removed them recently. I read your post about using 100% acetone nail polish remover to cut the residue. It isn't doing the job. Looked on the bay for your cleaning and finish product which you mentioned and can't find it. Don't know what kind of glue this is, socks pulled off without leaving any fabric fuzz on glue, but nail polish remover doesn't seem to be cutting the residue. Don't want to use anything abrasive since the finish is like factory fresh. Considering soaking with polish remover then scraping with wooden shim to not damage the finish. What do you suggest?
