Here's a couple of better bucks taken in the last 4 days at a different location. One is a real good 8 and the other is a nice 10 with a good kicker on the left G2. Don't know what happened to get the date and time off on my cam but the picks will be from 10-24 till this morning.

Alrighty then! Let's be sealing the deal. Cool, overcast misty here right now. Di had a Dr.'s appointment in Wichita this morning. Coming home, 15 miles nw of Wichita the temp was 74. When we got home it was 48. Now that sounds like a good afternoon for hunting to me.

I wish you the best on the hunt this evening.
I'd love to have a place like that. I could, but I'd have to go outer Island to get it set up.

Which, I mentioned to my wife and she wasn't opposed to the idea of moving outer Island to the small Island of Molokai. State needed a carpenter, that would be the cats meow job.
if Kristin was married and had already moved to North Dakota, I would of put in for the job.

Then, I'd have a slice of deer heaven. just like yours.

Shoot straight my friend be looking for some lay down pictures of a nice deer.

Well I got to test my definition of Ethics tonight. I knew the two big bucks had been coming by that feeder at dark or just before. Lo and behold I saw one coming up the trail at 6:50. At that time in my woods its getting dark. It took him about 15 minutes to cover the last 15 yards that would put him in the open. Stop, test the wind, take a couple, lift that head and big rack high to test the wind. etc. Wind was 100% from me to him. I didn't think he'd ever relax. I had him at 13 yards facing me. He finally turned and went back the other way. I could have launched as he turned, but I wouldn't have seen the arrow hit, and I'm not about to put a hit on something like him and feed the coyotes with him.
All I can say is I had a good plan and mr Big just wasn't having much to do with it. Ahh my friend, we'll do it again! By the way, he's much taller and wider in person, especially up close. Yeppir, he's a SHOOTER. :applaud:

Ralph , I hope he comes back for round two , I don't know if the big buck has been back on me , haven't checked my camera yet ( I kinda try to keep a pattern of filling the feeder and checking the camera so the deer know when I'm in and out ) I'll check it Sat but I'll top off the corn this evening .
Herd my neighbor behind me shooting last weekend , black powder here , hope he was just sighting in his gun , if not he is not a very good shot or took out a whole herd of deer .
