Unwanted guest

Post by Poggins » Mon Sep 24, 2012 11:10 pm

last season i had nine hogs at my corn , this year one shows up. I know that they are close to my place , one place I hunt is only half a mile from my house and I have seen twenty hogs on it a couple of weeks ago. This sow has no ears, may have lost them a couple of winters ago ( we had winds up to 40+ and wind chills 10 to 20 below zerow) .

Time for some hog eradication isn't it Billy? I had one show up for the first time in over 5 years since I've been hunting a spot near Binger. Big ole boy too!

I've had the camera and feeder out since mid August and thankfully only seen him once. With the drought and dismal forage I figure he must have been traveling through looking for water or some crop land to call home.

Going to make it to the Expo tonight or tomorrow? See you there if you do. Good luck to everyone that makes it out next week! Looking forward to seeing some harvest photo's. :applaud:

I knew I was going to join sooner or later.
I moved my feeder to another spot a little closer to my house and the hogs won't come up to it but the deer still hit it.
