Here's a lil selfbow I finished up last week. Found a short stave that has been curing for four years, so I jumped on it. When I got down to a growth ring, I found a mottled pattern of red, brown, and yellow. Since it had a couple of kinks, I had thought it would be perfect for some copperhead skins. But after seeing the ring I decided I couldn't hide it. Kinda unique. It's 55" nock to nock. 54#@26 inches.

Nice bow ............I'm about through with my first molly........I cracked the second one that we set down and glued where I cut threw the handle.....that part is holding up . It cracked 6 in. from handle at a pin knot....I put glue in it before I unstrung it........if its hold up I will snake it to cover the crack.
Its all mind over matter..If you don't mind it don't matter.......

That one looks cool Ralph. I would not want to cover it either.
