youth longbow brace height

hi, I am in the process of making a youth longbow for my nephew can anyone give me an idea of what the brace height should be set at, thanks

Could you give us some basic information about the bow? nock to nock length, draw length?

it is a design that I got from binghams, I called them and the bowyers are off this week so maybe next week they can help me, they drawings I got from them doesn't specify brace height, but for your question the length is 56 inches ntn and my nephews draw length is 24 inches the bow should be in the neighborhood of 25-30 lbs, thanks

Peanut, with those dimensions you would treat it pretty much the same as an adult bow with a brace height around 6 inches. If you are using a flemish twist string you can adjust it up or down a bit from there as you tune the bow for peak performance.
