Small brass tacks

Postby FrontierGander » Wed May 31, 2017 9:03 pm

Looking for some tiny, ( smaller than 3/16" ) brass tacks with a domed head. 3/16" is the smallest i found at dixie gunworks, everywhere else, typical 1/4" tacks which are to huge for what im doing.

I have my traditions st.louis hawken and the wrist is not long at all, so its important to find tiny brass tacks to decorate it the way i vision.

Any ideas where i can get these or a link? ebay is worthless.

Tack of the wolf sometimes carries the small tacks .
past that you could watche some of the period venders like Townson and Son , Bekleys and or any number of smaller traders who often carry tacks .
then of course you could look at Tac and saddle makers supplys .
