Louisiana Traditional Bowman State Shoot

Postby donnyjack » Sat Feb 11, 2012 7:06 pm

OK folks it been decided that we are going to put all our efforts into the Sterling Harrell Memorial Shoot. We feel we just don't have enough interest in the North/South Shoot and without the shooters it just would not be worth while for the LTB to hold the shoot.

So here's some of the details;

The 2012 Sterling Harrell Memorial will be held on May 5-6 again this year at the the Mountain Bayou Lake Boy Scout Scout Camp which is just north of Lake Chico State Park.

We will set up targets on Friday starting around noon if anyone would like to help.
There are cabins at the Boy Scout Camp and the price, if like last year, should be about $10 per person, 4 per cabin, or $40 per night per cabin, let Michael know if you want a bed or cabin reserved. There are about 8 cabins.
Also there is parking for RVs without hook-ups at the BS Camp or there are full RV camping and cabins at the Lake Chico State Park.

Will add more info as the Sterling Harrell gets closer and Michael will be sending out a news letter to everyone who's on the email list. If you would like to be added to that list let him know at 337-842-2033 or at btarchery@centurylink.net.

Hope to see everyone there.
