Medieval battle points

Postby jmichelin84 » Mon Aug 06, 2012 5:52 pm

Hello everyone, im going to for the blade out of wood or foam, and the socket out of either wood or foam and glue it together and sand smooth then seal it with a oil based paint, and make a silicon mold and use wax loss casting to manufacture my own points

Im wondering if anyone has any experience with this method, as in the forming the wood or foam, and is 4 inches for the socket and 4 inches for the blade too long, a total of 7 or 8 inches with a little overlap of the socket and blade

i welcome any and all advice and criticism :archer:
