Day after Christmas Pheasants

Postby TradRag » Mon Dec 29, 2008 10:10 am

Not a traditional gear hunt but a family tradition. Every year on the day after Christmas or within a day or two, my Dad, my Brother, and I and some other Fathers and Sons go out and do a little pheasant hunting. This year it was warm and windy but we manage to bag 5 roosters among us. Was just a great day of bonding and hunting.

That's cool to have those traditions, when I was growing up,every year we would celebrate Christmas on the eve and all the guys would go duck hunting on Christmas morning, alot of good memories from those years. We haven't done that in many years,I miss it.Do your best to keep your's going!

Looks like a good time, I chased a few this year with the Longbow. I got 3 shots off, 1 very close and 2 not so much!
