Texas Pig Hunt Journal

Postby Aeronut » Sun Dec 27, 2009 10:51 am

Some people write in a journal and I've tried that. My journals are now a different kind. I always have a camera close at hand to record what I see as I travel and then I make a video of the trip or event. This gives others a chance to see what I have seen. I go hunting to get away from the daily grind and find some solitude so that I can clear my mind. These are my walks in the woods.

This is my journal of our Hog hunt in west Texas three weeks ago. A journal that I not only wanted to make but one I had to make. The motley looking group in the picture are family and we also have a common tie beyond that. Each of us holds or has held a top level government security clearance. That is something I am very proud of. From the left is yours truly, and my cousins Jim, Jack, Scott, and Bob.

We didn't bag any game on this trip but nobody cared. Just being there is what mattered most.

This is my walk in the woods.
