need an arrow rest

Post by Breen » Thu Jun 16, 2016 2:30 pm

My Grizzly is a '58, 47#, ser.# HE524 with a wedge window. I brought it out of retirement today and the arrow rest is wearing out. It is the original rest, a one-piece rest and plate made from the same leather material as the grip with a built-in raised area under the leather plate which acts as a solid Berger Button. Still shoots great but the rest portion will not last much longer.

What are the chances of finding a reasonable replacement? I want this original bow to retain its original look. My guess is that I will have to find some thin light-colored leather and make it myself.

You might want to post this on the Traditional Archery forum... :)
