Am also 72, built first muzzle loader around '64 or '65, a pistol with parts from dixie. Last winters project was a flint pistol. This winter have started a flint 16 ga. shotgun with a 26" barrel on a french fusil pattern stock with steel mountings. Will get pictures up eventually.

Welcome, I bet you can tell stories about some of the great Muzzleloader shooters in the last 40 years.
How many times have you been to the Jim Davis Gun Museum in Claremore, OK?
Some of the best shooters and very good muzzleloader builders lived in AR and MO when I was shooting competition in the 70's & 80's.
Used to get some of my powder from a guy in Clarksville, AR.
Be sure to post some photos of your works.
