Vegetable bag

Not the lightest supplies to carry, but I use oven bags (The largest you can find) for cooking vegetables as well as other items. My favorite is:

2 whole onions- chopped into quarters
2 jalepeno- sliced
2 lbs of red potatoes- cut into quarters
1 lbs of idaho potatoes- cut into 8ths (depends on the size, use best jusdgement for ease of cooking)
1 bell pepper
Cup of olive oil
half a bottle of 10 oz Daddy Hinkles
Dash of Liquid smoked
Salt and season according to preference

Drop the bag (tied end up of course) into boiling water for 2-3 hours. If you use a grill be sure to separate the flames from the bag using thick tin foil

Feeds six people easily (especially if you have a main dish)

It warms the blood!
