i use this recipe for dove , pheasant, ptarmington duck or any other game bird
i happen to have.

1 stick of butter , rub it down good then flour it a little and poke a stick thru
it and set it up above the coals at an angle and turn it every few minutes until
its good and cooked , i set a steel cup near the underside to catch drippings
mix with flour and some creamer and water to make gravy with and some flour biscuits

1 cup of flour, salt, i use less than a teaspoon, milk, 1/3 cup ,
and baking powder , a dash of it and form it into biscuits and bake in the
dutch oven for 10 minutes or until done :campfire:
Joseph had a coat of many colors, mine are green brown tan and gray
