Postby butcherman » Tue May 11, 2010 8:45 am

went out on mother's day and hit mother load of morels, ate enough to be full and still had extra to freeze. i washed and cut the extras and froze flat on a cookie sheet after they were froze i put them into a ziploc. looking for any other ways to preserve if anybody has some good ideas it would be appreciated. they are to good to eat and would like to spread out through out the year when i can enjoy them. thanks, Bob

I've never froze any, but I'm interested to know if they taste alright after being frozen. Please let us know.
