breakfast coffee cake

in your bowl melt one stick of butter add 1/2 cup white sugar, 1/2 cup brown sugar , two eggs and one cup of all purpose flour and 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder and a hand ful or two of slivered nuts, pecans walnuts peanuts cashews , whatever, and cook at 400 degrees in an oven or dutch oven for 20 minutes until brown. makes a great cake for coffee in the am ,,, cover with berries or syrup or both.. yumm

Logan & I made a test batch last Sunday evening alongside with your cowboy coffee & it was deelicious.
It will definately go on the camping menu. :)

okay im doing it again, but this time i added a heaping tablespoon of dutch cocoa to the mix and made it cocoa ey . mrs bubba said it was better than brownies and i ought to enter into the contest at the co-op with it and win me a prize...

Rob...this was awesome! I don't think there's a better coffee cake.
