I've been taking pictures as long as I can remember. One of the first pictures I took was with a Brownie camera of an old Maple tree near Fall River Reservoir in Kansas. My mom kept telling me that it was black & white film and the colors wouldn't show up. I kept that picture for years and in my mind's eye the colors never faded.

January 9, 2014. It was extremely foggy while doing some work at one of the old Neosho power plant substations one morning. The power plant has been razed and the access roads removed but the old railroad bridge crossing the Neosho River still stands and is about 100 yards from the substation. Most times the bridge was completely obscured by the fog and for brief times it would make a ghostly appearance.

I always carry at least one camera with me all the times and got these three shots of the bridge as it loomed from the gloom. These are color pictures and have not been enhanced or altered in any way.

I named it the Ghost Bridge that morning.
