Jim Stutesman knife kits...WOW!!
Well, I just received my Bear style knife kit. When I opened it I was amazed. His craftsmanship is simply wonderful. I am so pleased! He also is a true gentleman. Had some great conversation with him. If you are lucky enough to have one made by him, as I feel, you will not be disappointed! Thank you...

Re: Coin on factory camo Bear bows
I have a Bear Super Kodiak 55lb bow,in factory camo. Its 80's era, remember the camo from the 80s era Bear compunds? Well, the coin is not painted. The coins that came on bows from the 80s were all unpainted as I recall. Hope this helps!

Bear Factory camo removal..how to?
Hey all... I have an 80's era Bear factory camo Super Kodiak. I'm thinking of removing the factory camo paint. Now, I don't want to ruin the bow..or really damage the underfinsh. What do you all think of maybe acetone and some elbow grease? I'm guessing theres a neat lil green strip under there...th...

Re: Bear key chains?
Oh..yeah..more about these neat key chains. I understand they were made by Bear archery from damaged or returned bows that could not be repaired. I also have seen a few that were not made from bow limbs...kind of a little round tab advertising a new model bow. The one I saw was blue, round and was a...

Hey All...I have an 80's-ish factory camo Super Kodiak,55lb recurve. I was wondering if anyone knew about what year this was made. I think I remeber them in catalogs back then, but really don't know. Do'es anyone have one? Has anyone stripped off the camo?..What do they look like underneath?..Seems ...

I saw a few on a website called "This Old Bow", I believe. I want to say the selling price was between $25-35.00 depending on style. Hope this helps.

I tend to use a spray on furniture wax, then wipe and buff it up. Seems to work well, and remeoves string wax and fingerprints.

Re: 1st time with new TVM early VA. rifle!!!
Yes.. I believe the TVM rifles are very well built and crafted. I am very pleased with this rifle. Plus, the folks at TVM (Matt and Toni) are super to deal with. My rifle is very good looking (IMHO) too! I can't wait to get her into the woods to hunt with...looking forward to roaming the woods with ...

Re: NCTAC & Fishing
You guys are right on that! Myself, a Tarpon 140, tan, well rigged, is what I fish the salt with. Here in tidewater region of VA, the striper bite is when I really get after 'em. Summertime, I fish the salt for croaker, flounder etc. Havent got into specks, reds or triggerfish yet though. Most other...

Hey all..kodiak55 here. Need some input here. Been shooting my 55lb. super kodiak, grizzlystick alaskans, with 145gr fieldpoint, and doing quite well at 10-15 yds. However, when I step it out a bit further, like 16-18yds, something weird happens..I am either dead on....or, open up quite a bit. Same th...

I CAN NOT believe I never had to even think of touching my sights! It shot perfectly....no, not close..or real well, but perfect! I do howe...

Hey all.. Here's an unusual request for help, I think. Well, I need a pic of either of Bear Archery logos, the older ones, like the ones found on Bear bows. I'd even like a pic of the old Detroit shop logo. It's for a little art project I'm doing. Well, thanks in advance guys. BTW, I tried all the us...

Your right Nightwing...so far, my longest hunting shot, with the wheelie bow was only about 15yds or so.
