Re: Handle wrapping with one inch leather ?

JD will probably be there to explain how he does the handle wrap but in case he can't make it I'll get a strip ready so I can explain the process. KC - Traditions ...

I was thinking the same thing Mike. When I get caught up I'll cut one out like that! I'd love to see a picture of the one you picked up from Mark.

OSS trade bow harvest pictures

Okay Jason I'll start us off even though I know you were first in this band of brothers. This morning Josh and I took off for the woods with our bows to see if we could hunt up a rabbit before all the snow melted. We both had some shots and close calls but nothing came home with us around noon. Righ...

Re: How is your......

The second weekend of the bow season I arrowed a nice big doe. She was slightly quartering away and I only managed to catch one lung. Matt and I gave her almost an hour and then tracked her for 2.5 hours before calling it a night. I went back the next day and saw buzzards circling over the neighbors...

Re: deer cam 2014

Had a good wind to sit and watch our feeder yesterday afternoon. I had 2 does show up just out of range. Close to dark a young buck showed up sniffed the does and ran them off. They wanted nothing to do with him! In the second photo it shows were I am sitting between a couple of cedars on the ground...

Re: Rat Snake Okie Bow

Also, Zeek, the scales they are talking about removing are clear scales. Not the scales with all the pretty color. Tommy taught me to apply several coats of super glue over the skins as the final step once the skins are on the bow and all trimmed up. By doing so it leaves a nice smooth skin on the b...

Each person demonstrating usually brings their own bench Easton. This is a very laid back event where we sit around working on our own stuff and talking to people about why and how we do it. I'm not sure about the tillering tree someone else will have to jump in and answer that question. I know Mike...
