The bow is made by my Brother Pete. It is very similar to a "copperhead" that used to be made by Elmer Patton of Crow Creek Bows.

Tweaking a tripod for Archery

About 45 min later I had this and began to wonder if I had made a mistake. Where and how was I gonna keep...

Just so everyone knows Pete is my brother. That being said he makes one heck of a bow. What you are seeing here is the riser for my new longbow. Here are a couple photos of the recurve design he builds. http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/ii45/heilakka/Bows/lightening/DSCN3421.jpg http://i261.photobu...

Re: “A week of Hot Florida Hunting”

Had 3 different hunts at same location interrupted by this guy. Thought you might enjoy. first time was kind of cool. second time he chased this hog. The 3rd time was the worst. I was watching a tall 10 point coming into the feeder through binocs when he froze and I startled from a large sound from ...

Re: “A week of Hot Florida Hunting”

Here is an edited version of Petes Pig Platform hunt. This is the first time in use and we did discover some tiny hunter tweaking was needed. Notice Petes position on the platform and the relationship of the bows lower limb and his left boot. [pbmovie]http://s261.photobucket.com/albums/ii45/heilakka...

Re: “A week of Hot Florida Hunting”

Distance and blockage. The guy walking the road was final straw. This am the 7 point is teasing Pete. We have an 8 point rule and this deer must know it. I have almost taken by mistake. This is third time he has been under Pete at less then 10 yards. Pete said he also had 4-5 lb rabbit but he stayed...
