Re: What should we do to grow trad. archery/bowhunting-

P.J. that's something David and I have been thinking about as well. We've been working with a friend of ours (St. Joe River Bows is a sponsor of his TV show) to air traditional archery hunts. He's very open to it. I don't want to speak out of turn about it so I won't say to much but we have high hop...

Re: What should we do to grow trad. archery/bowhunting-

In addition to getting our kids hunting we need to make as many adult converts as we can as well. Invite a work buddy, family member, neighbor or friend to a shoot with you. David and I have made a few converts over the years doing this. We have a couple low poundage inexpensive bows that we have pa...

Re: Bow String Testing

This has been a hot topic and the subject of many tests in our workshop. We have not found any reason for voiding warrantee due to the use of thin strings as yet on our bows. All of our bows are shipping out with 12 strand D97 strings at present. Thanks for the great research and testing!! We will b...

Thanks for all the kind words. :D I so love making bows and to me it's functional art and artists like people to look at and appreciate their work. I want them to shoot great but look fab while they're shooting great. The combo of curly maple with the cocobolo was something we hadn't done before but...

Re: Day in the woods=sanity restored and squirrel dinner!

Boy, those squirrels can be tough. I had one last year that I hit deadly with an arrow and it somehow made it back up the tree and into his hole. GGrrr.... No recovery of course. But it sounds like a great day all in all. ;) Can't wait to get out and fling a few at some squirrels tomorrow. It's alwa...
