Re: New Guy From Central Texas

Hello Randy, about a century ago I lived in San Antonio and "quituated" Northside High School (changed to John Marshall for notoriety reasons) I've been in archery off and on over the decades and am completely traditional now. I make my own when I have time (laminated) Now residing in Arkansas just ...

Re: First traditional harvest

Stray house cat. Woolworth (5 & dime) toy bow. Pulled the suction cups off the arrows and crimped bottle caps on folded (like a taco). Pop wore my butt out with that bow and then put me in 1 week lockdown. Rather have had another butt whipping than lockdown time. I was in second grade at the time an...

It used to play. But, like you, the video doesn't play anymore since I get the same prompt as you.
Oh Well, Never be late at supper time ( or videos)!

DITTO. I have the correct quick time player but it does nothing including prompt. But my 'puter is kinda' old. I traded for it with an ol' man who used it to tally the animals on his ark. jaxtix :archer2:

Re: Going to trade for a Type 2 Bear Custom Kodiak T/D

Yeah, I was worried about that being the case, but it seems to be only the finish which is damaged --- filling w/ Loctite 420 seems the best option or is there some other repair I should consider? Well that depends on whether you want to keep it original. There are a couple of "bow docs" on this si...

Re: Anyone still have late hunting seasons open?

Arkansas deer season (archery) runs 'till the end of FEBRUARY! After being knocked out of bowhunting until just now (torn Deltoid) I lost a bit of drive and had to resort to putting a couple of razor heads thru an Armadillo that had been tearing up my front lawn. So the eye still works and I hope to...

Not having string silencers is self defeating. I have shot deer with and without, and unless it was point blank I learned to "never leave home without 'em". FWIW my better half makes mine for me. (They don't let me have sharp things in the home) See "RATS". Here is a link to what works for me. http:...
