Re: Had some fun at the Harbor this weekend
Ulua are there now. They moved the dolphins to a undisclosed location, but if you walk out and throw your hands up in the air (like throwing smelt) they will hit the top of the water, So any Opelu bait with a hook with do the trick, but they are leaving , not like it use to be. Not really fair fishi...

Re: Kit Gun Build Along
Thanks Captchee, I take it apart and use pipe cleaners and a copper wire torch pick to try and get it as clean as possible. if memory serves (don't bet on that either) it was when the powder slugs first came out. so maybe it had something to do with that? But since I went back to Pyrodex, I've haven...

I have #22 more pounds to lose before I can decide. But the pain isn't going away. Just sitting here I have the back twinging and getting ready to go off on me. Mine is the L-1, L-2 causing numbeness and the L-5 is causing the lower back pain, but they are too far apart to do both... I guess the pai...

Re: The MSR stove duel | MSR Pocket Rocket versus MSR Reator
Does the MSR have full flame conaintment? So the flame can't be seen from the out side? You mentioned a wind screen was that for the Reator of both? Any thing that blows wind by design with out the aid of a wind screen IMHO is better, wind is always a Issue in Alaska as well as rian. Good compairson !

Nice Video, What grip style do you use? Split finger or 3 Under? I wrote a article for Bowhunter magazine called 3-10-5-20 (you can google it) I guess it's more for teaching, but I quickly found out even use "Seasoned" shooters had a tough time. Most shooters are excited and forget to "pick a spot" ...

Let me see if I can get these to load, maybe it'll explain it better... The drawing is actual knob shape, it's hard to center on the limb. IMG_0262.JPG Here is what I have now.. see the slant? IMG_0259.JPG What I'm looking for as a end result, a smaller deer antler would be better for a limb bolt. A...

Re: Need help with a cracked stock...
I had one couple years ago with a "use to be" crack. I removed the barrel on mine and used a slim line diamond burr that I use for carving. I opened the crack wider just as wide as the burr, then I used a small ball burr to make side burr holes in the sides of the crack on each side. I put a couple ...

Might check with 3rivers archery or Kustom King archery.
Google Traditional archery sites also someone just might have one laying in the tool box somewhere.
Make sure to post a picture of what your looking for exactly, it'll help big time.

Well, I'll weigh in here,When I build one of my bows, I do 3.5 inches shorter for a recurve (Most of the time) and 4 inches shorter for a longbow. If it's a D style bow I'll do 3.5 also pending the length and brace height at Fistmele?
