Re: Traditional , modern , or both

I sold both of my Darton Maverick 2000 and 2001 model year compound bows last October of 2012. I hadn't shot them in 10 years. They were just taking up space.

A fine looking bow.

If you look at my signature, you can tell I'm a "BIG" fan of Blacktail bows.

Re: Natural Blinds / Ground Blinds

Usually on package hunts far from my home , I use my Penthouse pop up blind. Closer to home where I can sleep in my own bed at night, I drive to my hunting spot and use a natural blind which I construct before hunting season.

Re: quieting a quiver???

I use a GFA type quiver. Since I'm right handed, I can wear it like a back or side quiver.

Re: size of your group

I only shoot one arrow at a time, go get it and then shoot again. I never practice over 20 yards since 20 yards is the farthest I'll take a shot at live deer. With javelina, I take 15 yard shots.

Re: Lunar Table | Moon Phases | 2012

When it comes to fishing and how the moon affects the tides, I use this Tide Predictor below. Try it out. Once on the page, pick your state and just keep navigating. "Scrolling down" will be required. ;) Just might work for land animals too.

Is the bow a recurve or a longbow? Recurves usually like a higher brace height than longbows.

As you can see, I'm having no problems posting a photo from Photobucket. You must have something wrong with a setting on your computer which won't allow you to post a photo from Photobucket. I'm also using the Pale Moon browser to do it. Pale Moon is an optimized version of the Firefox browser. http...
